It’s for your own good. If all the cool german cars you want were closer to you, you’d be poor and destitute in like a month or two.

Whew! I’m glad it’s far away from me too. I need to wait to get my adult life together before getting an awesome second car.

Meanwhile that’s a 2 week roadtrip away from me.
Remortgage your house, buy a plane ticket, and drive it home.

Pretty much.
I’ve been looking at this thing for the better part of a week.

so temped. then again, 88 hp and 126 lbs-ft at my elevation would be pretty scary in something that size.

This’ll feel like a rocket compared to my 240D.
I’m seriously considering flying out to get this. No idea what shipping would be, but I don’t know that I could buy a car sight unseen.
I did notice some bumpy stuff going on in this pic. I’m assuming rust but kinda looks like textured ceiling material...
That and whatever is going on here is holding me back.

Wow that is steep, but clean looking. $2500-3500 is common for that mileage out here (but have not seen many manuals). There is an amazing looking manual 240 sedan on the local FB buy/sell here for $6K but those are not the fastest cars, even with a stick.

That does seem a bit dear for the mileage.

Those round ones on the wagon are actually pre-facelift euro lights. (Apparently according to wikipedia the more rectangular lights were also used on pre-facelift 280.)
